Your booking includes a Murder Mystery game for your group, where you'll work your way through characters, clues, secrets and suspects as you try to uncover what happened — and, most importantly, whodunit.

HOW DOES THE MURDER MYSTERY WORK?

Your group will be given everything you need to take part in your own Murder Mystery experience.

Depending on the mystery selected, you may be introduced to different characters, suspects, clues and secrets as the story unfolds.

Work together — or become suspicious of absolutely everyone — as you follow the clues and try to figure out who committed the crime before the mystery is revealed.

Different mysteries may vary slightly in format, number of players and how the game is played.

You do not need to purchase or bring your own Murder Mystery game. Your game and required game materials are included with your booking.

Specific mystery options and any additional instructions will be provided before your picnic.

Choose to enjoy your Murder Mystery without food, or add one of our cozy Fall Menu options.

You do not need to choose your individual menu items when booking. Your selections will be made through the customization form sent before your picnic.

Enjoy the full Murder Mystery Picnic experience without a catered meal.

You are welcome to bring your own food, snacks and drinks to enjoy while you solve your mystery.

Please note that we do not provide access to a kitchen for outside food.

MAKING YOUR PICNIC SELECTIONS

You do not need to choose your menu items or other customization details when you book.

A customization form will be sent to you on the Monday or Thursday before your booking, where you will make any applicable selections.

Your available Murder Mystery options may depend on the number of guests in your group, as different games are designed for different numbers of players.

While we provide guidelines for what is included, every Picnic in the Forest is unique and different. Décor, game materials, signs, pillows, tableware and other individual pieces may vary depending on availability and the mystery selected.

Your picnic will always include our cozy Classic Fall setup with additional mystery-inspired touches and a complete Murder Mystery experience for your group.
