If you'd like us to prepare your meal, you'll be able to choose from one of our picnic menus:

• Sandwich Basket

If you choose not to purchase one of our food options, you're more than welcome to bring your own food. You're also welcome to bring your own specialty drinks, desserts, snacks, or anything else you'd like to enjoy during your picnic.

Bringing Your Own Food

If you're bringing your own food, we kindly ask that it arrives fully prepared and picnic-ready.

Picnics in the Forest is not responsible for preparing, plating, serving, heating, refrigerating, storing, or cleaning up outside food or beverages. Guests do not have access to our kitchen or food preparation areas.

Customizing Your Picnic

Within a few days of booking, you'll receive an email from Picnics in the Forest containing a Google Form to customize your picnic experience.

Through this form you'll be able to:

• Choose your food menu (if purchasing food)

• Select your preferred colour theme

• Choose your seating style (where applicable)

• Tell us what you're celebrating

• Share allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requests

Please Note: This email is not sent automatically at the time of booking. Our customization forms are sent manually within a few days of your booking.

If your booking is approaching and you haven't received your customization email, please check your junk/spam folder before contacting us.

To ensure we have enough time to prepare your picnic, please submit your customization form as soon as possible after receiving it.

Every picnic is uniquely styled by hand. This chart is intended as a general guideline. Décor, pillows, blankets, florals, candles, signs, tableware, and styling elements may vary while staying true to the overall style and value of your selected package.

Level 1: Copper Charm

A simple, cozy, and affordable romantic picnic, perfect for couples looking to enjoy quality time together in the forest. Ideal for first dates, newer relationships, or anyone looking for a beautiful experience while staying on a budget.

• 2-hour private netted gazebo rental

• Basic picnic setup with cushions and blankets

• Very light romantic décor

• Bottle of sparkling juice

• Couples conversation game

• Plates, cutlery, napkins, and wine glasses (if food is purchased)

Décor Includes

• A few candles

• 1–2 decorative faux roses

• Simple table styling

Please Note: Level 1 features a minimal romantic setup and does not include rose petals, "I Love You" décor, large romantic signs, or elaborate decorations. If you're looking for a more elevated romantic experience, we recommend Levels 2–4.

Level 2: Silver Serenade

Everything included in Copper Charm, plus:

• Food for two (if purchased)

• 1 bag of rose petals scattered throughout the gazebo

• Additional cushions and blankets

• 1 "I Love You" accent pillow

• Enhanced romantic décor, including:

  • Additional candles

  • 2 decorative faux roses

  • Tablecloth

  • 1 romantic tabletop sign

Perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, or creating a memorable surprise.

Level 3: Golden Glow

Everything included in Silver Serenade, plus:

• Additional candles throughout the gazebo and on the table

• Even more cushions and blankets

• 2 romantic accent pillows

• 2 bags of rose petals incorporated throughout the setup

• Elevated romantic styling, including:

  • 2 romantic quote signs

  • Decorative faux roses
